Refund Policy (Returns & EU Right of Withdrawal)

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility for returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note: If you handle an item beyond what is necessary to check its nature, characteristics, and functioning (for example, opening sealed/shrink-wrapped products), this may lead to a reduced refund due to diminished value, up to the full purchase price if the item can no longer be sold as new.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility for change-of-mind returns. We do not provide prepaid return labels in these cases.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping your proof of postage. You are responsible for the parcel until it arrives at our return address. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return may not be accepted.

Damages, defects, or wrong item received

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

In these cases, we will cover the return shipping costs or provide a prepaid return label, as appropriate.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Gift cards are non-refundable, unless required by law.

Sale items: Sale items can be returned within the statutory withdrawal period. We do not offer additional voluntary return rights beyond your statutory rights.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.



European Union 14-day cooling-off period (Right of Withdrawal)

If your order is shipped within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, for any reason and without providing a justification.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by email at info@cardtorious.com within 14 days of receiving the goods. You must then send the goods back without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you informed us of your withdrawal.

The items must be returned in the same condition you received them, unused, and in the original packaging, with proof of purchase.

Return shipping costs: If you withdraw from the purchase, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the return is due to a defect, damage, or wrong item (see above).




Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If you withdraw from the purchase (EU right of withdrawal), we will refund:

  • the purchase price, and

  • the cost of standard outbound delivery (if applicable).

We do not refund any additional costs if you chose a more expensive delivery method than standard delivery.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.
